Victor Ita James, known professionally as "VJ Oba Swaggs," is a singer, rapper, thespian, and versatile recording and performing artist from Cross River State, Nigeria. He was raised in the streets of Ebute Metta, Lagos State.
A lyrical poet with an activist spirit, he dedicates himself to championing Africa's emancipation through "painting pictures with words." VJ's sound draws inspiration from diverse musical artists including Michael Jackson, Drake, Tory Lanez, Post Malone, Falz the Bahd Guy, Young6ix, Davido, and Burna Boy.
